Oriental Pratincole (Glareola maldivorum)
A very rare vagrant to the UK and a few images here from a single visit to the Frampton Marsh bird. Tirelessly catching insects on the wing, this was undoubtedly one of the highlights of 2010! Key identification features: the short tail streamers and lack of white trailing edge to wing 'arm' are seen here.
